The Michaeal Kors range of watches attracted me the very first time I saw them, having not worn a watch for several years I was instantly in love with the idea of wearing one again, and that I could express my style through it. Although I first purchased a gold one in the range for men, I soon was taken by this lovely white woman’s watch, which had gold features, it reminded me of classic Chanel and just seemed to radiate elegance and style.
The watch strap and face is coated with this soft white rubber material, which gives it a nice matte effect and feels really lovely. The gold features are made from metal and they really stand out against the white main colour. I really love the way the watch itself features gold numbers and gold borders around the hands, it makes it stand out on your wrist, so you can see the time easily.
The workings of the watch itself are absolutely perfect, it keeps the time accurately and the date moves well with each day. The one problem I have with it is the material of the watch face. Obviously something you wear on your wrist will unavoidably come into contact with dirt and dust, but this seems to have really stuck to the rubber of the watch face, making it discoloured and yellow looking. I was really disappointed when this started to happen after just a few weeks, as I now don’t want to wear the watch, because I think it looks horrible, but I can’t seem to clean the stains off either.
Overall it really has been a waste of my money, and it’s such as shame as I really loved the design.
