Pretty sure I've mentioned a time or two that I'm super picky when it comes to the stuff I put on my skin. I have a fairly strict policy that I won't put anything on my skin if I'm not willing to put it in my mouth. Skin is the biggest organ in the body and it absorbs a considerable amount of the stuff that's gets rubbed in, so it's particularly important that I use all-natural oils when moisturizing my skin.
Before I fell in love with coconut oil, I've been loyal to cocoa butter, but now I like to experiment with different oils. Since I've been playing around with different oils I've discovered that vitamin e, mixed with evening primrose oil is great for under-eye circles and puffiness. Grapeseed oil is amazing as a massage oil because it glides on smooth and takes a little bit to soak in without leaving any feeling of greasiness behind – a little goes a long way.
Apricot oil, on the other hand, is fantastic for a bunch of different uses. Massage oil, deep conditioner for hair, minimizing puffiness, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, the list goes on and on. Because I like apricot and grapeseed as massage oils, I like to blend them together with a few essential oils into one multi-purpose oil that I use for quick moisturizing, frizz-taming for my curls, and even a mild perfume because it smells great.
