I'm not the type of person who always has a bottle of hand sanitizer in her purse, but that's only because I'm so forgetful, and when I do remember, it's definitely The Body Shop's Satsuma Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer. It's got their classic Satsuma scent, which is perfect for a hand sanitizer. It's not too cloying a smell, but it doesn't smell too antiseptic, like one of those citrus window cleaning sprays.
It's fruity and sweet and smells delicious, and the scent lingers after the hand sanitizer has been absorbed into your skin, which only takes a minute or two and doesn't leave any residue on your hands. I love that this hand sanitizer doesn't have that alcohol smell, nor is the Satsuma scent so strong that it's perfume-like, which I've found with a lot of other hand sanitizers.
The Body Shop carries their hand sanitizer in other scents, but I think the Satsuma is the nicest option. It's also a perfect size for travel, whether you're just throwing the little bottle into your handbag on your way to work or you're flying internationally. It's only 60ml, so it falls perfectly into the air travel regulations for gels and liquids having to be 100ml or less, and if you are flying somewhere, you can rest easy knowing you've got your hand sanitizer to use if the airplane bathroom runs out of soap!
