Pros: cats love it, ideal treat substitute for multiple cat households, inexpensive
I have a multiple cat household and it can sometimes get very expensive to provide packaged treats. My cats traditionally eat wet food, so I didn't buy this to give to them as a staple, but to try as a supplement to their traditional treats. Treats are full of carbs and things cats probably don't need, but like people, they enjoy them every now and again.
What I do is take a handful of this food and I place it in either a zipper bag or in one of their old treat bags. I then shake the bag and dispense the food to them as treats. They still get to partake in a crunchy treat that isn't part of their normal feeding schedule. They appear to enjoy this particular flavor and become excited every time I start to offer it to them.
This saves me a lot of money on treats because this small bag of food costs between 5 and 6 dollars, where as a tiny bag of treats costs be at least 2 dollars. I'm certain that it's 20x more food than I would get with an actual bag of treats and I enjoy the savings and that my cats are still happy with their special treat.
This product used to be a favorite of our cat. He was always excited about the flavor and looked forward to eating. He would actually choose this flavor over the chicken flavored cat food. Read more
