Pros: made with natural ingredients, no meat by-products

Stop the press! We have found a healthy cat food Sinatra likes. Sinatra is grumpy, mean, and fussy. He was left behind outside at a house I moved into 8 years ago. I did NOT want a cat. He didn't want a new human. We've been stuck with one another ever since. Needless to say, Mr. Fussy Pants does not like anything that is good for him. So, I usually have to mix low-quality food he will actually eat in with the good stuff. Not with this though!

I ordered the Wellness Turkey Recipe canned food online, expecting it to have the same response as the other high-quality foods we have tried through the years. When I checked his bowl the food I put in there was all gone minutes later. I assumed one of the dogs got into it, and gave them all a disappointing glare, but none gave me a guilty look in return. So, I tried again. This time, I watched him chow it all!

The turkey used is free of growth hormones and steroids. It is grain-free and contains vitamins and antioxidants. It also has taurine, which is important for eye and heart health. The first four ingredients are turkey, chicken liver, chicken, and chicken broth. It is a definite winner here!

When it comes to buying cat food I have to be very particular and very careful about what I put into the bowls for my furbabies. I have a cat who is 19 years old and she is also a diabetic. Read more
