The Samsung Galaxy S4 android smartphone is a really nice phone with come pretty cool features; however, it most certainly is not a "100% perfect" smartphone. I got my Galaxy S4 in white and the service for it was through Verizon Wireless. The phone itself has a number of specifications and features that I really like. First of all, the camera on the S4 is truly an awesome camera. It takes very high-quality, crystal clear and high resolution pictures as long as there is enough light in the background. The flash on this smartphone's camera is also pretty useful. You can use it either while taking still photographs or recording videos in 1080p High Definition. The front-facing camera is only 2 MP, but the quality is good enough for video chatting and taking some decent selfie photos as long as you have an adequate amount of light..
I absolutely love the fact that this phone is water-resistant. They say that you can leave the Galaxy S4 submerged in water for up to 30 minutes without damaging it. Personally, I have never purposely left it in water that long to find out if that was actually true, but I have dropped it in a sink full of water before and it did not damage this phone's ability to function nor did it cause any damage to the appearance of the phone. Along with its water-resistant, it is also a very durable phone. Like many other people, I have dropped this phone on both carpeted, tiled, and hardwood floors, and the LCD screen has never chipped, cracked or shattered, nor has the casing or shell of the phone nicked, chipped or cracked at all.
The processing speed of this phone is pretty fast, I don't have to wait long for my applications to load and/or open. The graphics and the sound are clear and high-quality, although the speaker could be a little bit louder in my opinion. The amount of memory in this phone is sufficient for my applications, photos and videos, although I also store a lot of my info on a 16 MB micro SD card.
One of the things I do not like about this Galaxy S4 is the fact that it does have a habit of freezing up and sometimes randomly resetting on its own. This can be a frustrating thing, especially when you are in the middle of doing something important on the phone, and you haven't yet saved the information you are working with. I have lost small of info and had to start over again due to this particular phone flaw. Also, whenever you use this phone's mobile hotspot function, the connection says it is supposed to be 4G, but in my experience, the connection speed has only been about 2G or 3G at the most.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android smartphone is a really durable and fast phone with a decent quality camera, and if you happen to be fan of the Samsung Galaxy series, I would certainly recommend that you give this one a try.
