Interestingly, I did not actually buy the OXO Good Grip 4-inch Pizza Wheel to cut pizza. As a vegan of 11 years, and now mostly raw, I cannot tell you the last time I even made pizza at home to eat. I bought this product to cut food I make in the dehydrator.
I am constantly making some sort of raw food, slowly dehydrated on 115 degrees Fahrenheit, or less. This ensures that no nutrients are lost. For example, right now I have two trays of flax and kale crackers as well as two trays of strawberry/banana fruit leather in. After struggling to cut these types of foods into portion sizes with a knife for a long time, I read one day to use a pizza wheel. How did I never think of this?
So, I ordered this OXO wheel, gave it a try, and it was perfect! Now when a sheet off yummy goodness gets done I slide it onto a big cutting board, slice it with the wheel, and put it in an airtight container.
Be warned; this wheel is extremely sharp! It comes with a plastic cover (shown in pic) that I recommend keeping on it when it is in the drawer. You do not want to grab that wheel! The cover could be designed a little nicer. It is tricky to get on. It has a nonslip handle that is comfortable to hold, as well as a built-in thumb guard. I do not have a dishwasher, but you might be interested to learn that it is dishwasher-safe
