Pros: all natural, easy to break apart, easy to digest, fatty acids, full of good bacteria and enzymes, no grains or gluten, no preservatives or additives
Cons: horrible smell, pricey

I have learned through the years that the worse something smells the more my dogs love it, so I knew these Barkworthies Green Tripe Sticks were going to be a hit the second I opened the package. I recommend feeding these outside or on a hard floor, and do make sure you wash your hands after handling them (although, with the lingering odor on your fingers it would be hard to forget).

If you're not familiar with tripe, it's the untreated lining of the animal's intestines or stomach. Sounds pretty bad, but it's full of good bacteria, enzymes, and nutrients. Even one of my old dogs with a sensitive stomach has absolutely no problem digesting these.

These Green Tripe Sticks by Barkworthies are made from lamb. They are grain- and gluten-free and contain no preservatives or additives. They are packed with fatty acids for healthy teeth, gums, skin, and coat. They do have pretty high protein content at 70%, so a little goes a long way. Most of the sticks are between 5 and 7 inches, which is a perfect size for medium and large dogs, but they do break apart easily for smaller dogs or to use as more of a training treat.
