One of my female dogs has always had a bit of urinary incontinence since I adopted her. However, for years it only affected her once in a while. She'd have the occasional leak while she was sleeping. Now that she is getting older it's become a real problem. It was starting to get to the point that every time she would sleep or relax, she would leave behind a wet spot.
Of course, the vet wanted to put her on pharmaceuticals that we can't possibly know the long-term side effects for. So, I started doing a little research. I found a lot of people recommend organic apple cider vinegar, so I started giving her some every day. It did help, but it wasn't completely fixing the problem.
I stumbled upon this NaturVet Bladder Support for Pets, and thought I'd give it a try. It's quite affordable, so there really wasn't a risk in trying it. Even if it didn't work, it would be good for her bladder anyway.
I don't know how these supplements work, but they do. I mean, these things are amazing. Within a day it was helping, and now she only has a tiny leak every few days….and it's very tiny. Apparently it tastes like cranberry candy because they smell fruity and she gobbles them right up.
In addition to cranberry, these supplements also have pumpkin seed, wild yam root, rehmannia, marshmallow root, Oregon grape root, vitamin C, and beta carotene.
I'm involved in rescue and have recommended these to several people already. Everyone has been equally as impressed as I am.
