My dogs absolutely love Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Chicken Dinner Patties. First, let me say that this stuff is expensive. It's definitely not practical as a primary source of food unless you have a very small dog or a lot of money. I have three large and extra-large dogs, so I usually re-hydrate a few of these patties and use them as a topper on their breakfast. They go nuts as soon as I open the bag.
I crumple the patties, add a little water, and give them some time to re-hydrate. I usually use a little more water than necessary, so I can use the "gravy" to pour over their food. It only takes a few minutes to be ready after you add the water.
I love that Stella & Chewy's is made in the USA. The chicken is cage-free and doesn't contain any hormones, antibiotics, etc. Although chicken and organs are the primary ingredients, these patties also include a bunch of organic fruit and vegetables, including pumpkin, cranberries, spinach, beets, carrots, apples, blueberries, squash, and a lot more. The patties are grain-free and have extra nutrients added.
If I could afford to feed this to my dogs full-time, I definitely would. Unfortunately, I can't, but my dogs are for sure happy with it being a topper. One of my dogs has a sensitive stomach, too, and he has no problems digesting this at all.
