I've always been a big fan of Merrick products, but I can't always squeeze them into my budget. When I heard about the company's Whole Earth Farms line, I was definitely intrigued. It made a grain-free, natural line, but at a much more affordable price. That being said, I was concerned that the flavor could be lacking, but all three of my dogs didn't hesitate to eat it as soon as I poured it in their bowl.
Whole Earth Farms offers a few flavors, but this was the first one I decided to try primarily because duck isn't a huge part of their diet, so I thought it would be something new and exciting.
The primary ingredients are turkey meal, turkey, duck, chicken fat, peas, potatoes, and alfalfa meal. There are also plenty of other great ingredients, including dried blueberries, yucca, cinnamon, sage, rosemary, and salmon oil.
This dry dog food contains no wheat, soy, corn, by-products or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. It is also made in the USA with no ingredients sourced from China. It comes in a few different sizes, and I appreciate that even the smallest size ships free with Amazon Prime.
