For some reason I'm a huge fan of bluetooth speakers. I have quite a few of them (I also have quite a few gadgets to sync them to, so I suppose it sort of makes sense). The Coosh Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is absolutely brilliant. I mean, really? Hand gesture controls? That's just too geeky for me to pass up.
There is, however, a small issue with the controls. Namely, they seem to get a little confused at times. A simple gesture (a wave of the hand near the speaker) tells it to go forward or backward, to pause and play. But when it gets confused (and it does somewhat frequently), it can do bad things. My biggest problem is when streaming Pandora music from my iPad through the Coosh Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. When gesturing toward the speaker, it often "skips" rather than pauses (or whatever I happen to be trying to get it to do). And if you've used Pandora, you know that you only have a limited number of skips per hour that you can use. Needless to say this can be a bit annoying. The hand gestures can be turned off, however, and the speaker can operate by touching the buttons instead of waving at it.
Overall, the speaker sounds great, and it's well worth the cost. It's one the better sounding portable Bluetooth speakers that I have used.
