I have kept several Betta Fish over the years and really enjoy them. I don't like keeping them in small glasses, mostly I get 1-5 gallon aquariums for each. And over the years I have used different types of food for them including Aqueon, Hikari and Tetra. I am currently using Wardley which seems to be a pretty good brand. It helps keep the water cleaner and my fish really seem to like it. But it does take a little while for it to dissolve for the fish to be able to eat it. He usually takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes to eat. It usually takes that long for the pellets to soften up for him. I mostly prefer pellets over flakes due to less mess for me. I have not tried the mealworms, but for the most part, I stick with the pellets because the fish seem to thrive good with them. As for the brand, Wardley is definitely a good choice, although I mostly buy Tetra brand. Wardley has also made improvements along the way for less wasteful materials in the water and keeps the water cleaner. That helps with cleanup. All in all, I would recommend Wardley Betta Pellets as they seem to be a good food for my bettas.
