Pros: great aroma, great flavor
Cons: slightly more expensive than regular tea bags

Once you find that brand of tea that you just love, no one can take it form you, no one can change your opinion. At least that is what I thought, until I moved in with a new roommate, who had this tea sitting on the counter. Mind you, I didn't care about her stinking tea; I had my own.

Then I ran out.

She is very sweet and let me have some of her tea.

I was very critical of drinking a tea with the word Bigelow in it. It reminds me of a movie I wish I had never seen. Regardless, I was in one of those moods where I wanted to sit on my bed, watch some tv, and drink some hot tea. I brewed her tea in my favorite mug, added some sugar and took a sip. I loved the taste so much I almost cried. It was really good tea. It taste really fancy, with all the spices and herbs in it. Now, it still isn't better than my favorite tea, but this is definitely my second favorite. I love using this tea and I really love mixing it with lemon juice. I use either sugar or honey to sweeten, and sometimes I use a little milk if I am feeling really relaxed. I drink this right before I go to bed.

I will say that the price of this tea is ridiculous. So I will continue to smooch off of my roommate and drink hers ever so often.

I was not always a big tea drinker, other than regular iced tea with dinner. I was, however, a huge Star Trek fan, and often found myself mimicking the iconic Captain Picard, asking for "Earl Gray, hot". The day came, of course, when I wanted to try hot tea. Read more
