Bragg Liquid Aminos is a healthy alternative to soy sauce and much more versatile. I would not consider it a low sodium food as it has 160 mg of sodium in a 1/2 teaspoon serving. You do not have to use Bragg's in a recipe as you would soy sauce, so it lasts a lot longer and also helps to further reduce the sodium content. It has a mild flavor without as much bite as soy sauce, so it works with more dishes. I enjoy putting a little bit over my rice dishes or making fried rice with it. I have also had success in combining it with other seasonings to create marinades for foods to go on the grill. I like that it expands flavor options. You can sprinkle it on popcorn or salads to create a new taste and avoid using salt. I have never tried it on meat, but it does really well on portobello mushrooms and tofu. We also eat a lot of gluten-free foods, so Bragg Liquid Aminos is a great alternative. I feel that Bragg Liquid Aminos seasoning is a must-have in any kitchen where people are looking to expand their options while trying to eat healthier foods.
