Daisy simply makes the best sour cream. I buy the light version, because there is no taste sacrifice between the regular and the light, and who can't resist cutting a few extra calories! I use Daisy light sour cream on so many foods. I have noticed little to no difference between the regular and the light in texture, smell, or consistency. I use it in my baking, it is delicious when added to banana bread, it creates a rich, smooth bread with little extra calories. I use it on tacos, fajitas, in pastas, on fruits, and so many more recipes. It is a great alternative to any calorie-laden dips. It makes pastas creamy and smooth. I go through a pound of the light sour cream every two weeks or so. I can never resist putting a spoonful on top of a meal when it calls for it. In living with some family members that do not care for sour cream, they can never tell when I have added it to recipes! Of course, I do not try to add it on meals when they just call for sour cream like in mexican, etc, but in pastas, pies, cakes, breads or in stroganoff, no one can ever taste the difference when I use Daisy rather than using a heavy cream alternative. I always mention to other friends that cook how often I use Daisy light sour cream and they are surprised. Then they try it out, and are converted to Daisy!
