I remember using Hershey's chocolate syrup when I was a child, looking forward to mixing the chocolatey goodness in with a nice, cold glass of milk. There seemed to be nothing better, and it is nice to know that the flavor has not changed over the years. This syrup is a staple in my house, as my daughter has the same sweet tooth as I do. The syrup mixes well in a glass of milk, and I find that it mixes more thoroughly if you first pour the milk into the glass then squeeze in the chocolate. If you put the chocolate in first, you run the risk of it not mixing completely. There are many other uses for Hershey's chocolate syrup besides just in milk. For example, add it to a cup of hot chocolate to enhance the chocolatey flavor. Drizzle it over brownies to add a decadent touch or over ice cream for a special treat. I have tried store brands of chocolate syrup and always come back to Hershey's. It has a richer, deeper flavor than other brands. While it is more expensive, in my mind the richer flavor is well worth the few extra pennies I have to pay.
