I confess I do not drink Hills Brothers Cappuccino by itself. I mix them with regular coffee for the added flavor, but I have found that as time has gone by I have begun adding more and more of the English Toffee flavor to my coffee. The smell itself is mouth-watering and people often say after I have made my coffee, "It smells like pancakes in here." It does smell strongly like maple syrup which is a favorite of mine. The smell is so strong, you could put it in cups around your house just for the scent. You can smell it without opening the container.
I have come to really like the English Toffee. The Double Mocha is also good, but I when mixing them, I use more of the English Toffee than anything else.
The side of the carton says the mix can be used for a hot or cold beverage. I have never had it cold and don't think I would like it, but if you like cold flavored coffees, you might want to try it.
If you have never tried flavored coffees before, I would start with the English Toffee. You can always use hot chocolate mix to give your coffee a mocha flavor, but I've never found a substitute that can give the same flavor as the English Toffee. I've tried putting toffee candy in my coffee and caramel hot chocolate. Nothing works. I always have at least two containers.
I've found that my regular grocery stores do not carry Hills Brothers, but Walmart does and it is available from several online stores. Other flavors (which I have not tried) are French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Mocha Mint, White Chocolate Caramel and Classic.
