Kava Instant Coffee is an acid neutralizing coffee product that comes from premium coffee beans. I was in the grocery store once and knew I was out of coffee, but I didn’t want to buy a kind that I could brew. I was at a point in my life where I wasn’t drinking a lot of coffee, so I figured instant would be a better option for those days I wanted just a cup or two. I generally get decaffeinated coffee, and I didn’t realize Kava was caffeinated until I got home. I figured I’d get it a try anyhow. I followed the directions and added a teaspoon of grounds to a cup of boiling water. I added in some milk and sugar and the coffee taste was overwhelming. It tasted just like black coffee, so I mixed in a little more sugar. It took that overwhelming black coffee flavor away, but it was still strong. Now, if I have a cup, I use less coffee but I still have to add a little more sugar than I’d like. I don’t like to waste things, so I will continue to drink Kava until I run out, but I don’t plan to purchase this kind again.
