I am a real tea drinker and love to try different types of teas. My favorite regular tea is Lipton. It is very dependable with its flavor and always makes a great cup of tea. Lipton makes its tea with orange peoke and peoke cut black tea and imparts a great flavor. It tastes like tea is supposed to taste; not too watery and not too strong. I've tried cheaper brands and they have a more muddy or burned flavor. They do not have the pleasant tea flavor that Lipton has.
One teabag makes a perfect cup of tea. There is no calories, carbs, or sugar so you can drink as much as you like. There is 55 mg caffeine per cup. You can serve this tea either hot or cold. I drink it all year round.
Lipton is an American tea and it might not be preferred by the English who are real tea connoisseurs. Sure, there are better teas on the market, but they cost more than Lipton and using a tea bag is much more convenient than using loose tea and having to steep it in a tea ball or tea press. Some may say they like to regulate the strength of their tea, but since Lipton tastes perfectly blended, I don't see the point. I take my Lipton tea bags to work and drink it all through the day. I would have a little harder time with expensive loose teas and making them at work. I'll stick to my Lipton tea bags for what I think is a great cup of tea.
