Pros: adds a nice flavor
Cons: not the best smell

Rosemary leaves have always been interesting to me because I really don't like the way that they smell, but I definitely appreciate the flavors that they bring to the food that I eat. This is especially true with the McCormick rosemary leaves because these are the best ones that I have tried so far. I can use these leaves on just about any Italian meal that I make and I have yet to have a complaint from my family about the end result.

I think some people will look at rosemary leaves and think that the texture might not be that great, but it turns out that it isn't too bad at all. In fact, these leaves give a little bit of an extra crunch to the meal, which most people seem to like.

The flavor is almost like a burned wood flavor, but there is a little bit of mustard in it. This makes it perfect for Italian meals because it brings out the rest of the flavors without being too potent. One of the things that I often don't like about seasonings is that they will be a bit too powerful for me, so it's nice to have this stuff around to just add a little bit of extra flavor and crunch.

Rosemary is one of my most favorite spices to use when I cook, and McCormick is a favorite brand of mine. It never disappoints. The spices are always fresh and flavorful, never dry and stale. Also, the freshness lasts for quite awhile before the staleness sets in. Read more
