Pepsi vs Coke is an endless debate, one which I am afraid will never have a definitive answer. That said, in my book Pepsi wins the challenge. I much prefer the flavor of this soda over the Coca-Cola brand. I have also tried to save money by purchasing off brands of soda, and have been sorely disappointed. It is not nearly the same. The Pepsi flavor is crisp and clean, and slightly sweet. My favorite way to enjoy it is in a tall glass over ice. It is also great as a mixer for various adult beverages. Pepsi has been around for many years and has gone through a number of changes, but this traditional recipe is the best. Granted, it is high in sugar and caffeine but there is no fat in the drink. While it is not the best choice for those on a diet, it is fine in moderation. Even when I am watching what I eat, I still allow myself an occasional Pepsi as a treat. As long as you include the calories in your daily count, then you can rest assured you will not go over your daily calorie restrictions. If your doctor has recommended you watch your sugar and caloric intake, however, be advised that this may not be the best choice for you. Otherwise, enjoy a cold Pepsi over ice for a refreshing beverage.
