I will openly admit I was drawn to this beer by the packaging. The bright colors and the promise of tropical fruit flavors really appealed to me after a long, hot Hawaiian day. The price point was just right, too.I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying another six pack several days later when I returned to the grocery store.
The flavor is light and refreshing, which is perfect with spicy food, or with homemade tacos. Ice cold, it’s the perfect finish for a long, hot day of work in Hawaii. The hint of mango and other fruit flavors inspired by the fruit cart vendors of California made this the ideal flavor for the last days of summer and first days of fall. Just as pumpkin spice beers and other autumnal brews are being stocked on the shelves, I’ll be happy to help clear out the inventory of the Mango Cart Tart.
I normally reach for heavy stouts - I’m a die-hard Guinness fan, after all - but something about the promise of a light, crisp, fruity beverage really called to me and I’m so glad that it did. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to others.
