It's a bit sad that I should have to begin with a disclaimer, but I'm going to do it anyway…

Don't get me wrong, I have a sweet tooth. I love candy. But when I reach for a something sweet I will usually go for something chocolate. Very seldom will I crave marshmallow. Therefore, marshmallow peeps simply don't find themselves on my radar.

That being said, marshmallow peeps aren't exactly bad, they simply aren't part of my normal mode of operation. If I was a marshmallow junky then I would certainly wait all year for peep season to arrive. Instead I will chew on a peep if I need a sugar rush and I have no other option.

They're cute, look just like little baby chicks, which is endearing I suppose. They don't taste like anything special. It's a chick-shaped marshmallow, nothing exciting.

Of course they come in the form of different animals (bunnies versus chicks) and different colors (pink, yellow, blue) but the original flavor is nothing spectacular.

I would probably like peeps better as an ingredient in smores.
