I'm a pretty low-maintenance kind of girl. I like to keep it simple when it comes to hair and beauty products, the more natural the better. If I can help it, I try to stick to a general rule of “if I'm not willing to put it in my mouth, I don't want it on my skin.” This works great for my skin, but when it comes to my hair I need to be a little more relaxed.

Sure, I could probably just use coconut oil all day everyday. But hair needs variety to maintain optimal condition. I learned the hard way that achieving excellent condition for long, shiny hair starts with a healthy scalp, but also requires a regular routine of deep conditioning treatments. I don't like using a heap of hair products, but I will most definitely use BB oil moisturizer. This hair lotion contains both castor oil and aloe for a super combo of moisturizing and conditioning.

I use just a little bit as a leave-in conditioner while my hair's still damp after the shower. Then I just let my hair dry naturally and enjoy soft, bouncy curls for the rest of the day. My hair is shiny, touchable, and my curls are defined without frizziness and fly-aways. The best part about this stuff is it's super-cheap, and it lasts forever because a little goes a long way.
