I spend a lot of time on the computer doing everything from photo editing, graphic design, and writing. I am nearsighted and need a monitor that is high-definition and that is highly adjustable.
The Dell UltraSharp monitor has been perfect for my needs. The monitor is adjustable for swivel, tilt, and height options as well as being able to flip into a vertical (portrait) position. The resolution is 1920x1080 which is just right for photo editing.
I bought this monitor because I found my other brand monitor just didn't have a crisp and clean look to the font or images. Since I read and write a lot, an easy to read font is imperative for me. The UltraSharp monitor is just that - ultra sharp. The colors are vivid and true and the high definition makes images come to life.
There are larger UltraSharp monitors available, but the 21.5 inch was my choice because it fits into the opening of my hutch. I find the 21.5-inch widescreen to be more than adequate for using a split screen application, something I often use.
You can find cheaper monitors but I think for the money that this monitor is a great buy.
