I occasionally have trouble falling asleep, which is more regular that I would like it to be, and many different things keep me awake. I have a hard time falling asleep when I am bothered by light filtering into my room from other rooms in my apartment or from the street lights outside and I usually pull a blanket over my eyes or put my arm over my face, but both end up waking me up because I get uncomfortable. I bought this sleep mask with the intent of using it during travel, but I wear it a lot. I ended up trying it at home first, because I wanted to test it out and I figured if it helped me in hotels that it would do the job at home. The mask is really soft and comfortable on my face. It isn't itchy around the border where the soft cushion is stitched into the seam. I like Eco Tools products because they are reliable and made from natural and organic materials, so they aren't harmful to your skin. Seeing as I am putting this fabric right over my eyes all night, I am glad to be sure that the material is safe and won't bother my overly sensitive eyes. I had to tighten the band to mine a little bit because it slid off when I wear my hair down to sleep, but it was an easy fix and I just used a pony tail holder to do it. These sleep masks are definitely worth buying if you dislike light in your room at night!
