Pros: adds volume to the hair, easy to use
Cons: doesn't get hot enough

I do not like this hot air brush as much as I did my previous one. I should have known that 500 watts was not strong enough to dry my long, thick hair. My last hot air brush was 1000 watts, which is what I really need.

What I do like is the brush part itself. I like the bristles on this hot air brush better than the others I have had. The nylon bristles glide through my hair easily without tangling my hair or pulling the hair. The swivel cord is a nice feature that makes the brush easier to use. I bought the 1 ½-inch model, which is perfect for long hair but would be too large for shorter hair.

The airflow and intensity is fine on this brush but the high setting just does not get as hot as I would like. It does have a nice cooling feature that works well. I like the Titanium ceramic-coated barrel as it allows my hair to slide over the barrel easily. I like some of the features enough that I am not going to return the dryer.

If you are looking for maximum drying power, this brush is not for you. Get one that has a higher wattage than 500 watts.
