I was not a person who used sensitive toothpaste; in fact, we first bought the product for my husband. However, it wasn't too long after this that I started experiencing nerve pain myself, and I decided to give Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief, which was what we had around our house, a try.
The nerve pain that I've experienced in my mouth has been very minor, but it's still not something that I would like to live with. When I first began using Colgate's Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste, the pain that I experienced went away after a few days. This is exactly what Colgate says that its product will do. Initially, I stopped using the paste again and went back to my usual toothpaste, but I started experiencing pain again probably a couple of weeks later. After going through the cycle of starting and stopping use of this toothpaste a couple of times, I decided to just make it my usual toothpaste. I haven't experienced any pain that I can remember since having done this, and I don't see any downsides to using the toothpaste as my regular. It whitens and it leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh, in addition to protecting me from nerve pain...What more could I want?
