My daughter and I love to do all different kinds of crafts, and painting is a big part of most of them. While many people may not be able to tell a difference when it comes to paints, I do have a few favorite brands and Americana is one of them. This paint is never too thick or too thin and it goes on smoothly, regardless of the media you are using it on. We have used this product to paint ceramic and wood as well as on canvas and paper. The coverage is great, regardless of the shade you choose. Even white, which traditionally is really hard to paint with because of streaking, offers even coverage. As with most acrylic paints, a second coat is always recommended. I also like the fact that this paint cleans up really well. Even when my daughter forgets to wash out her paint brushes, which is more often than I would like, I can still easily rinse them clean with warm running water. These paints are budget friendly and will not break your bank, which is especially helpful when you have to buy a variety of different colors. If you are in search of a good craft paint, I recommend you give this brand a try.
