My secret Santa gave this to me during our company's Christmas party. It adds beauty to my family setting room. In fact before Christmas, I was looking for something similar to put on my mantel. Its shabby and chic style suits well into our setting room as some of my stuffs have antique looks.
The one I have has a light mint green colour. The design of the clock itself looks like it is antique and the edges of the clock add a big impact on its shabby and chic look. The wear and tear look of the edges makes it a bit older. The big Roman numeral numbers also plays an important part in old look design.
The clock is also made of wood which is for me adds class to this mantel piece. It gives the clock the essence of age. However, if I am really looking for a clock with real antique look, this piece is far below that level. Its overall appearance is not really that real and it is very noticeable the first time I saw it. As far as I am concerned, I still like this piece for I did not expect for it have that authentic antique look the price my secret Santa paid for it.
