When I first decided to get a smart phone although I got it for free as part of a contract deal, I was very aware as to how much the phone was worth. It was far more expensive than my usual standard mobile, so I was really worried when it came to damaging or loosing it, as it would have cost a lot to replace it.
Because of this I started to look into mobile phone insurance. After comparing a few different companies and reading some recommendations I decided to take out a policy with insurance2go, as it seemed to be the best company offering everything I needed. For a small sum per month they cover all the things that worried me, such as liquid damage and accidental damage. Saying that, I did have to upgrade my policy in order to be covered for theft, which was my biggest concern, and for any calls and downloads that might be made if the phone was stolen.
Luckily I didn’t have to make a claim whilst I was with this insurance company, which in a way pains you for having made the payments each month, but it did give me good peace of mind, which was worth the bother.
