When my daughter turned turned 6 months,I thought it’s time she started drinking from an actual glass, mug, or cup instead of from a bottle, but I guess it’s not that easy to make the transition. I thought the difficult transition period would be alleviated if I train my daughter to drink using Philips Avent Training Cup. However, the product did not meet our expectations, still my daughter found a way to make use of it.
Avent products are trusted worldwide so I did not hesitate to use one of their products ones more with this cup. One of the things that drew me to buy their training cup is the cup design. It has two handles on the side and that makes it easier for my boy to grasp onto it while drinking. The drawing on the cup’s pretty cute too and my boy seems to enjoy looking at it.
The main problem we encountered with the cup is that the spout is too thin and weirdly shaped. Ellen can’t seem to drink properly from it, so he ends up just using the cup as a toy and not for drinking. At least it’s not a total waste.
