My tap water tastes terrible. The mineral content in the water that runs from my tap is very high, and I can't drink it straight from the tap because of the heavy taste. I bought a 10 cup Brita pitcher for a decent price. I used to have an older style one, but it cracked so I bought the new model. This Brita pitcher has saved my water. I run all the water that I drink through the Brita, and then store it in a BPA-free water dispenser in my fridge, that way if have filtered water available at all times. This Brita pitcher has also enabled me to enjoy beverages from my Keurig with no heavy mineral or chemical taste. The Brita pitcher does not take long to fill or filter, the whole process takes about 5 minutes, but you can let the pitcher sit and filter the water and do all the work for you. Sometimes the top would kind of slip a little bit when I would pour the water, but other than that I really have no problems with it. It holds a lot of water and it ready when you need it, plus mine has an indicator on top that shows me when my filter should be replaces, which is key! But, the filters can be a little pricey since you have to buy them every few months. That is another downside. I'll buy them though, because my tap water is gross!
For me and my family, this Brita Water Filter Pitcher 10 Cups is a must have every day. We have had ours for a few years now and we can not be without it. It filter the water perfectly and it gives the water a really good and clean taste. Read more
