Living in an apartment, I am not permitted to have a grill. So, to kill two birds with one store and cook healthier meals and also get a grill out of it, I purchased the George Foreman Lean, Mean, Fat Grilling Machine. I use it probably 3 times a week grilling chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, and vegetables. It is a great, multipurpose machine! I do store it away for when I am not using it, in order to save counter space, and getting it out since it is bulky and big and heavy. Once you plug it in, it begins heating up, and mine does not have a heat setting control, so it gets just one temperature, and that is plenty hot to cook everything I need to. The grooves in the grill track grease away from the food so that the food is not sitting in its own grease. The grill comes with a drip tray to catch all of the grease from the cooking food. This is an easy way to make anything more healthy by ridding of extra fat, calories and cholesterol. The only thing that I don't like about this particular machine is that the grill trays do not come off for washing. This means you have to put the grill right next to or in the sink in order to wash the trays. It is such a pain in the butt!! But, other than that inconvenience, it cooks food astronomically well for being and electric grill.
