Pros: different strength options, easy to use, heats up water in only 4 minutes, removable water reservoir, tons of flavors
Cons: pods are expensive

We drink a lot of coffee in this family. I have always wanted a Keurig, but they were just too expensive. Then, a few years ago we got one as a gift for Christmas. It was the most amazing machine ever! While it ended up dying two years later, I still went out and bought another one because I enjoyed the machine that much.

Fresh, Fresh Coffee

I don’t like the burnt taste you get from traditional coffee pots, especially if the coffee sits there for a little bit. But, with the Keurig you never have that. It brews one cup at a time, fresh, and piping hot.

You Control the Strength

I like how I can control how strong the coffee tastes. Since some brands are a lot stronger tasting than others, this is a nice feature. Same goes for the weaker brands, you can still increase the strength so you literally get a perfect cup of coffee every time.

Tons of Flavor Options

At first when we got the Keurig there weren’t a lot of options for coffee. So we had to buy the expensive ones from their site only. But, now there are tons of coffee pods to chose from and just about every coffee company out there has their own version. You can even buy the pods at Costco and Sams now!

Great for Guests

When we have people over, it’s nice. If someone wants coffee we don’t have to brew an entire pot. Also, if someone wants a different type of coffee, they can just pick one out and brew their own cup.

A Few Cons

There are a few cons, but they don’t stop us from enjoying and recommending the Keurig. The pods are expensive, yes. But, we buy ours at Costco and on Amazon in bulk so that they are a little cheaper. You do have to descale the machine or it will clog, but really you should descale any type of coffee pot for a fresh brew.

I would recommend the Keurig to anyone that enjoys coffee. It is delicious and we can’t get enough.

I love to drink tea. I've always disliked having to deal with messy tea bags or waiting five minutes for it to brew in my cup. The Keurig solved both my problems. I love brewing tea using k-cups. There is no mess from dripping tea bags. I can just toss them into the trashcan. Read more

I love drinking coffee throughout the day. A cup or two in the morning, and a cup whenever I need a quick pick me up during the day. When I drink coffee, it is pretty much spread out, so a regular coffee maker for me just didn't make much sense. Read more
