I will never buy expensive makeup brushes, applicators, or sponges. I feel like you can get decent products for half or even more than half off of the price of the expensive "professional" applicators they sell in stores like Sephora, Ulta, etc. I bought these Equate Makeup Wedge Sponges for around $3 at Walmart. There are 32 in a pack, and I am not even close to have using half of them. They do the job, essentially. When I use a new sponge, I do feel like I waste a little bit of the product while blending it into my skin, because half of the product gets blended into the sponge. Once the sponge becomes pretty saturated with the product, I feel like none gets wasted. The wedges do get a little distended after a long use, but I get like 2-3 weeks out of mine before I switch them up. The good thing about getting 32 is you don't have to worry about replacing them, and you always have an extra. This gives me the ability to switch it, especially to keep my face clean and free of germs that may be growing in the sponge with frequent use. I will continue to buy this product, it is cheap, easy to use, they come in a large pack, and there's no other reason for me to switch it up!
