I went off lip gloss for a while. Too sticky and too goopy and too messy. But somehow I'm back. Maybe I just realized how gorgeous shiny, glossy lips look. Whatever the reason, I've tried L'Oreal Paris' Glam Shine Miss Candy lip gloss in Tart Lollipop, and it’s alright.
Pretty bottle with an awesome brush!
It looks pretty. The small tube is striped with shiny, sparkly Barbie pink and a shiny, sparkly coral-orange shade, but I'm not really sure why they went to all that trouble, because the gloss actually looks pretty translucent on my lips. The gloss coats my lips nicely and gives them shine and a little shimmer and lots of gloss, and surprisingly, it really doesn't feel sticky. But the colour I don't really understand.
The angled brush makes application really easy
The brush applicator is awesome, though! It's much large than most of the brushes that come with a lip gloss, and it's angled, which I find makes a huge difference in how easy it is to apply. I definitely think that angled brush should come with all lip glosses.
The colour looks much brighter in the bottle.
The lip gloss is also slightly scented, with a light, fruity smell to it. It's nice, but not a feature that would make me need to buy more of them.
