As far as the formulation goes, Creme D'Nude is like any other MAC cremesheen lipstick. It is highly pigmented, easy to apply, and provides excellent moisture for your lips. It also has that delicious vanilla fragrance that I have come to appreciate with all MAC lip products. Sadly, this is where the positive points for this particular product end.
Creme D'Nude is a very light nude color and will appear to washout your lips. For those with a light skin tone, such as myself, I've noticed that the lipstick will actually blend your lips into your face. I have tried a lip liner with Creme D'Nude, but it just doesn't cut it. I find myself having to actually tint the lipstick with a pink gloss in order to add some color back into my lips after application. The shade almost reminds me of a concealer gone wrong.
Creme D'Nude does work well as a lip primer if you happen to have darker red lips. This will allow you to effectively wear a lighter color than your actual lip color, but be warned, sometimes colors don't always mesh well together.
I still use this lipstick, only because it was so expensive, and only when I mix it with a darker nude or pink. This shade is unwearable for most skin tones.
