I love Taste of Home Magazine. It comes with hundreds of recipes contributed by people from all over the United States. Also in the magazine are interesting kitchen tips and great information on different techniques used to make food. It is all home cooking and nothing too fancy or expensive.
Taste of Home was started by Reiman Publications, who was sold to The Reader's Digest Association in 2002. The first Taste of Home was published in 1993 and I think I have saved almost every magazine since 2004. It used to have no advertisments, but they did start to accept ads in 2007, but it really did not take anything away from the magazine. You still got all the great recipes. Each issue has a theme and most of the recipes go with the theme. Each state as a group of contributors that send in recipes, but anyone can send them in. The one thing I really like about the magazine is that each issue has a recipe index so you can find recipes easily. The magazine is published six times a year and I rejoice every time I see it in my mailbox. I have made so many great recipes that have come from this magazine.
