US Weekly is a guilty pleasure. I won a subscription by accident. I don't even remember entering into a competition, but one day I opened up my mailbox to find a "Congratulations! You've won a year subscription to US Weekly!" letter. Now, I look forward to finding them in my mail every other week or so. They are stuffed full with fun gossipy stories about celebrities that I will likely never meet. I enjoy seeing what the celebs are up to and where they go. I'm not a crazed fan by any means, but sometimes its nice to dream about living a life of someone famous. The articles in US Weekly are interesting and I love the "Celebs! They're just like us!" photo section. Usually, the pictures in that section are fairly normal, but occasionally it will be something so outrageous that I can't help but laugh. They recently added a celeb babies "They're just like us" section, which is adorable.
If I hadn't won the subscription, I would likely have never picked up the magazine. Now, reading about celebrities lives is kind of addicting. It's fun to read about who is angry with whom and who wore that dress best.
