My four cats needed more to engage them during the day. They needed some vertical obstacles to challenge themselves and to get to higher shelves so that they can look out the windows and play together. This condo took less than 30 minutes to put together, and all the pieces were really easy to put together. Everything fit together well and I had no problems with anything not fitting. The condo itself is pretty sturdy, and four cats play on it all at the same time. It is under five feet tall, so the highest perch is right at or below eye level, which is great, so I don't have to worry about kitties jumping on my head. The cats love it, it has three scratching posts, which help them to maintain their nails and instincts to scratch so they aren't scratching at my rugs. It also has a hideaway box with two entrances, so they can get in and out and hide or nap. The highest perch is a small bed. If I could change one thing, I would suggest you make sure that the holes are big enough to fit your cats. My largest cat at about 14 pounds has a hard time fitting in the entrances to the hideaway box. She shoves herself in there, but they are a tight fit. It is a great product for the price I paid.
