I am always a little hesitant to buy products that I haven't used before. I know the flea medication from Hartz is no where comparable to that of Revolution or Frontline, So I was a little nervous to buy one of their other products that wasn't a shampoo or something of the sort. I didn't really find anything else like this on the shelves though, and since it contained aloe, I thought it might be the best bet for what I was looking for for my family's dogs. Our younger dog, a miniature scnauzer is very light white, and you can see much of his skin underneath his thin coat. This results in him getting warm, itchy, almost sunburned skin in the summer times. He loves to lay out on the hot concrete, but it makes him get hot spots which can ooze and become really irritated. The hydrocortisone in the spray keeps him from relentlessly itching his burns or irritated skin, and the aloe soothes his skin. He is much less antsy after I spray some of this on the pads of his feet and on his butt and stomach after a long day outside, so I know he is getting some relief at least. The only other thing I would say would be that the spray isn't effective for very long, which means as soon as I see him itching or licking again, I just re-spray him.
