Cons: expensive, poor quality, small amount

I got these for my new 3 gallon betta fish tank. I didn’t want to use small gravel, I wanted to use the bigger, smooth gems. I had a few at home already, but I wanted to get some more so I ordered these. I was very, very disappointed when they arrived.

These were expensive. Maybe they would have been cheaper in the store, but ordering them online it was expensive. When it arrived, I couldn’t believe how tiny the package was. There were barely any gems inside. It didn’t add enough to my tank, so I ended up having to buy more of a different brand.

Another issue I had was that several of the gems had been broken. I couldn’t use several of them because of the jagged edges. Jagged edges are very bad for betta fish’s long fins. This was frustrating, especially on top of already not having a lot of gems and paying a lot.

Overall, I can’t recommend this product. If you want to use gems, use a different brand. I guarantee you will get more for less.
