I have two cats. One is a diabetic and one of the common symptoms is frequent urination. That's why it's important for me to use a good litter. Using a clumping litter like Scoop Away makes it easy to clean out the litter box and doesn't waste litter. A good litter keeps urine odor contained and clumps litter so cats don't have to get come out of a litter box with messy dirty toes. They don't like it and you won't like having it dragged through the house and onto your furniture and carpets.
Once urine hits the sandy litter it starts to clump into a solid ball. Just scoop the clump of urine and littler out into a waste bag and leave the rest of the litter behind. There is no need to empty out a whole litter box and toss good litter into the trash every day. When you use Scoop Away
My Cats Prefer It
scoopable litter, you only have to throw away what's used, as it's used.
The litter comes in various size bags and boxes. I try to buy the large 42 pound bag when it is on sale. It's so much easier to store than bulky boxes and plastic buckets. Scoop Away is a little more costly than other brands. I have tried several cheaper litters and always go back to Scoop Away. One of my cats chose to use the bathroom floor instead of the box with one brand. They have a way of getting their message across.
