I actually went into The Body Shop to buy another product, but ended up buying the Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel as well because it was on sale. The sales clerk told me it was a great cleanser for sensitive skin and was very effective at removing waterproof eye makeup. Since I hate fighting with eye makeup, I figured this would be an easy way to remove it while washing my face at the same time.
After trying this product, I discovered that it does remove waterproof makeup very easily and it's very gentle on the skin, however, I found that it left my face feeling a bit oily. It was actually an odd feeling because my face didn't feel "dirty oily" like it does when it needs to be washed, but rather "overly soft". Since it didn't cause me to break out, I decided to use this as my "nighttime face wash". It does a great job at moisturizing skin, so I figured it would be better to use at night rather than to try to put a daily moisturizer over top before leaving the house for the day.
I love the smell of this product! It's a very lemony, clean scent, and is very refreshing. I find the best way to use the cleansing gel is to put a small amount on a washcloth and gently rub my eyes to remove the waterproof makeup. I then apply a little more to the cloth and wash the rest of my face. The only drawback is that I feel I end up using more of this type of cleanser than I do other cleansers. I think this may be because this cleanser does not foam like many others, so it seems like you need to apply more of the product to fully coat your skin.
