Pros: many editing options
Cons: expensive, steep learning curve

I had some (a lot) of extra money and I figured that since I am going to be taking art classes for my graphic design major next semester, I may as well purchase this now. First thing, this program is incredibly expensive. INCREDIBLY expensive. Even if you purchase it on amazon, it's pricy.

I've always used Paintshop Pro as my photo editor/image creator of choice; however, I've heard that photoshop is the program that is recommended for use with my classes, so I had to get it. Going from one editor to a new one is like night and day. Photoshop is confusing and it needs a steep learning curve. If you want to purchase this program, I fully recommend finding tutorials on how to work it.

It's not difficult to do basic things, like cropping, resizing, and things like that. I haven't gotten too involved with the program yet. Just browsing around and seeing what the program can do. There is a neat 3D graphic function that enables you to create and alter 3D graphics.

I would love to give this program more than 2 stars, but for the price and the difficulty level alone is enough to drop the rating. Hopefully I'll be able to follow along in class!
