I used to be really fond of photo manipulation and creating web graphics. I had been using Corel PaintShop Pro X. I decided to upgrade to X6 last week. I'm still unsure if I like this version of the software or not. With the old version, I was able to add custom brushes, masks, tubes, and stamps and it was so easy. With the new version, it's so complicated. There are three different tabs that you can use. I still have to figure out what the first two tabs are for, but I do know that the third tab is what you'll be using to edit your images on. It has all the same features that the previous versions of PaintShop Pro. The new version does have some new filters to make your images a little more interesting. I would love to know how to create vector art with the program. The user interface is a little cluttered and it takes some getting used to. One thing I do miss about the previous versions of PSP was the tutorial guides for new features. This version doesn't have tutorials, at least none that I had found. I'm going to have to update this review when I get more acquainted with the program. It is good for basic editing and cropping. But I know the program can do so much more than just editing and cropping.
