As a mom and arts educator I am always looking for paint products that kids can use without the worry of staining clothes or causing too much of a lasting mess. Crayola's washable kids' paint provides hours of artsy fun while still being easy to clean up at the end o the crafting. Although the paint is technically washable, when I forgot about that blue blob on my short and let it sit overnight, the stain did not completely come out. That said, when washed right away -- the paint does release from the fabric.
The paint is also extremely easy to clean up on tables and other workspaces. With just a wet paper towel, the paint quickly comes off. It also easily washed from my hands (as well as my son's hands).
Crayola's kids' paint works well with a brush, sponge or even fingers. I also use it to make prints using stampers and my own homemade foam printing tray. The thick paint easily sticks to any surface and works well for printing.
I'd say the only drawback is that it tends to be a little too thick at times. The consistency can make the paint get streaky when applied.
When it comes to the price, Crayola's washable paint is on the marl. It is low-cost, making it an inexpensive way to create art with children.
