This classic toy does not entertain my children in the least. I however, love it and it now lives in my room. I love the way you can make strange, abstract art with it. The travel version fits into my purse without taking up a lot of space at all. I pull it out to entertain myself or for screaming children whose parents are looking frazzled. This toy is exactly the same as it was over 20 years ago when I was a kid. You draw on it using the the knobs to create a picture. Simply shake the toy for a few moments and the picture disappears. It is now a clean slate for a whole new design to be drawn on the screen. The Etch-A-Sketch is a sturdy, slightly heavy toy that can take a lot of abuse and still keeps on delighting kids all around the world. I wish my kids would play with it, but perhaps they are still a bit young to truly enjoy this toy.
